ABOUT US
Tantallon Community Players (TCP), a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1982 to increase community awareness of the theater in Southern Maryland, through performance opportunities and workshops. To this end, it has helped foster hundreds of individuals with a sense of community and a creative experience that for some has become a lifelong interest in theater.

TCP is a multi-ethnic, ensemble-based theater company. We commission and produce musicals and plays, both original works and contemporary adaptations of classics, that combine the artistry of professional and community collaborators. By making theater with and for people of many ages, cultures, and levels of theatrical experience, TCP builds bridges between and among the diverse communities in our home of Fort Washington, Maryland, and around (and beyond) the Capital Beltway.

TCP is a proud member of WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors).

Contributions to Tantallon Community Players are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS. Copies of TCP’s Federal Form 990 are available upon written request.
